How does Rayhaan Valhalla smell?
Raspberry, cognac and liquor give Rayhaan Valhalla a tart, boozy opening: berry fruit with the sweet burn of spirits. Tonka bean, Bulgarian rose and oakmoss form the heart. Tonka is creamy, rose petal-soft and slightly spicy, and oakmoss adds a damp, green, forest-floor depth.
Praline, oak and sandalwood close the scent. Praline is nutty and caramelised, oak dry and a little tannic like a barrel, and sandalwood smooth and creamy. The structure moves from fruit and spirit through flowers and moss to a sweet, woody base, giving the whole a rich, slightly dark character.
