Sapodilla and ambrette begin Rayhaan Nava Sol. Sapodilla is a soft, brown-sugar-like tropical fruit, and ambrette seed adds a musky, slightly waxy touch. Magnolia, violet and sandalwood then fill the heart, with magnolia creamy and lemony, violet powdery, and sandalwood smooth and milky, so the middle feels gentle and rounded.
The base is made of ambergris, cedar and musk. Ambergris contributes a salty, marine warmth, cedar keeps the structure dry and woody, and musk blurs the edges. Taken whole, this is a soft, powdery and slightly sweet composition with no sharp citrus anywhere in it.
All four seasons are in the shop's tags for Nava Sol, along with daily, evening and work, and it is listed as unisex. That wide spread matches the notes, which are mellow and rounded: soft fruit, powdery flowers and a quiet woody-musky base, with nothing loud to limit it.
